So busy right now! In between appointments and heavy rains I haven’t had as much time to sit down and crochet and answer email, although I’m still fairly quick over at Facebook. I love comedians, I really do. I especially love this fake news pundits who sometimes even deliver better and more truthful news than their contemporaries. Two in particular comes to mind: Jon Stewart and hisDaily Show, and his faux!Republican protege, Stephen Colbert with the Colbert Report! Am I the only one who remember things like the great Colbert-Stewart-O’Brien mock brawl over who called Mike Huckabee first, or their Rally to Restore Sanity / March to Keep Fear Alive?

Here’s yet another customized project for a customer – here is his custom character, an 8 inch Red knight doll with sword! The knight helm was actually the easiest part to do, and the body armor the most difficult. Wasn’t entirely sure I could make a knight, since I never had before, but I think the doll doesn’t look too bad

I love Penn and Teller! Vegas magicians, TV hosts, skeptics, atheists – I have all seasons of Bullshit! on my laptop, and their skepticism when it comes to religion, politics, morality and ethics (they think most forms of recycling is a waste of time and just in place to make us feel better about ourselves, believe most extreme religious nutjobs are also hypocrites, explain why prostitution and marijuana should be legalized, point out the inanity of circumcision, among many others) and most of their claims are still as valid today as when they made them.

So here they are in doll form! Someday I am going to complete my own version of Mount Awesome in doll form – Penn & Teller, Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Conan O’Brien, and George Carlin.

Everyone loves Harry Potter. Seriously. The ones who don’t are either jealous of J.K. Rowling or “anti-mainstream”, which is another term for “being jealous of J.K. Rowling”. I can’t really think of any other book series that has practically defined a generation and inspired more kids to read.

At any rate, the last of the Harry Potter movies is finally out! Yay, Deathly Hallows!
